LeAnne started school at Shepherd Junior High School and Tyler started his home school routine. We get up at 7am, do chores, read scriptures, eat breakfast. LeAnne leaves at about 8:30. Tyler has been doing very well practicing the piano every day. I put a sign on the TV that says (Tyler owes me $1.00 if he watches TV before piano). Ever since then, he has not missed a day.
Tyler knows about 20 primary songs. He is not complaining too much and has done extremely well. He plays the first line and the chords that go along with the songs. I am hoping he will really start to enjoy it and that it will turn into a life time love. He has fought me with every bit of strength he has (which is a lot!!). "I hate the piano!!" "Why are you making me do play the piano!!!" It has been a PAIN PAIN PAIN. But I am trying not to give up the fight because I think it could be something he enjoys.
Above are a few pictures of the first day of school.
All last week, I was busy trying to move my office downstairs. Baby Josh's room will be where my office is now. I have cleaned out almost every drawer and closet. It has taken a long time, but it feels nice to be organized.
Rachelle, Brian's sister and her kids (Brooke, Sean, and Ryan) are visiting from Washington. They came over on Sunday for a fun dinner. Marilee and family, and the Trisha and Dennis and family came over. Uncle Mike (Hixon) made a great spaghetti dinner, so I didn't have to cook!
Brian had to give a talk for ward conference on Sunday and did a great job.
