Chickens!!!!
Tyler and cousin Brittany--best friends. The kids love to get the chickens out of their pen and play with them. We bought 10 chickens--5 Rhode Island Reds and 5 Barred. They are losing their down and growing lots of feathers.

Cute! By the looks of your house, I wouldn't have imagined that you could have laying hens. We have had Rhode Island Reds before, but we have Golden Sexlinks right now. Both lay nice brown eggs. I'm not familiar with the Barred kind. What fun for the kids!
I am SO jealous! I am really thinking about getting some chickens! You will have to tell me how it goes!
